About the Role
The Mechanic will inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and brake repairs.
Inspect and identify safety and repair issues.
Conduct diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues.
Conduct auto body repairs when necessary.
Perform upper-level diagnostics if required.
Diagnose leaks effectively.
Replace engine components (including head gaskets, shocks, struts, front end components).
Remove and install transmissions, transfer cases and engines.
Rebuild differentials and transfer cases.
Perform A/C compressor and component repairs and recharging.
Perform brake lining replacement.
Tune up, replace spark plugs, wires, clean throttle body and clean air flow sensors.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop.
Other duties as assigned by the manager or other leadership.
Requirements
Requirements
Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
Operates with flexibility and adaptability to any environment.
Operate in highly stressful situations from both internal and external sources.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, cleaning supplies, and other equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot problems effectively and efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
