About the Role
David Roberts Consulting, the parent company of Ride Care Transportation, DR Security, and Bison Auto & RV, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing while working alongside industry professionals.
Responsibilities
Market Research & Analysis:
Assist in gathering data on target audiences, competitors, and market trends.
Analyze market data and customer behavior to identify opportunities and trends.
Content Creation & Management:
Draft and edit marketing materials, including emails, brochures, and social media posts.
Support the creation of engaging content for various marketing channels.
Social Media Management:
Manage and maintain social media accounts, engaging with followers and monitoring online conversations.
Develop and implement social media strategies and campaigns.
Event Planning & Execution:
Assist in planning and organizing marketing events and promotions.
Help with the coordination and execution of events, including logistics and promotion.
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Support the analysis of marketing campaign performance and provide insights for improvement.
Prepare reports and presentations summarizing key findings and recommendations.
Email Marketing:
Assist with the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns.
Monitor campaign performance and make recommendations for optimization.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization):
Assist with keyword research, content optimization, and other SEO activities.
Other Duties:
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for marketing projects.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Work with other departments to ensure marketing efforts are cohesive.
Handle inbound requests from vendors, brokers, partners, customers, and clients.
Requirements
Education:
Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with social media platforms and tools.
Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Creative and innovative thinking.
Experience:
Previous experience in marketing or a related field is a plus, but not required.
