About the Role
Working under the direction of the Director of Revenue Cycle, this role will have a strong background in bookkeeping, payment processing, accounts payable, invoice correction and reconciliation.
Responsibilities
Track and reconcile financial transactions, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Utilize different software systems to manage financial data, generate reports and streamline accounting processes.
Process payments accurately and in a timely manner.
Send out invoices to client facilities in a timely manner.
Identify and rectify errors in invoices, working collaboratively with teams to ensure accuracy.
Records payments and reconciles remittance advices.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Coordinate the annual audit process and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Maintain accurate records of all accounting transactions.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Provide excellent customer service to client facilities regarding billing inquiries.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Proven experience as an accounting specialist or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel). Proprietary software used.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting. Comply with GAAP and HIPAA guidelines.
Ability to multi-task, interpreting on-going problems and suggesting possible solutions.
